  • Presentation Mass and New Altar Servers

    On Sunday, the children who are enrolled on the Sacramental Programme attended church for a lovely Presentation Mass delivered by Fr Joseph. 

     

    We are also very proud of Max, Toby, Iris, Sienna and Felicity who received a blessing on Sunday after making a commitment to be altar servers.

  • Year 5 Telescope Visit

    Fri 26 Jan 2024 Mrs Miskell

    On Thursday afternoon, Year 5 enjoyed a visit from Burnley College tutors Joseph and Antonio who brought with them two telescopes. The children learned how the telescopes work and why they are important in helping us to learn about space. Unfortunately the weather stopped us from using the telescopes outside, but we did manage to look at some pictures of planets down the corridor!

  • Y5/6 Sports Hall Athletics Competition

    We are extremely proud of the 12 children who represented St Johns at this event. They showed great resilience and worked amazingly as a team, competing in 8 events overall. Well done! 

  • KS2 Multi-Skills Event

    Wed 24 Jan 2024 Mr Steele

    Well done to Dalton, Lilly-Mai, Daisy and Roman who competed in the Burnley Schools Panathlon Event and came 3rd! They showed great team work, encouragement and determination.
